The Sports Info Center on behalf of the Local Organising Committee of the Event values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal and other data when you use our web application (“App”).

If you submit personal data about other individuals (eg other members of the delegation), you confirm that you have obtained explicit consent from those individuals and will provide them with access to this Privacy Policy.

We do all we can to ensure that Data is stored securely in our database with encryption and industry-standard measures. However, no method is 100% secure.

We do not sell your data. We share the data with the Local Organising Committee of the Event and also with other Authorities. We may share it with service providers under strict confidentiality or when required by law.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the the planning, staging and review of the Event, or as required by law.

Definitions

Local Organising Committee - This is the body authorised to plan and deliver the Event for which data is being collected to enable, regulate and support your participation.

App - The Sports Info Center application used to manage and provide information about the Event. The App is available as a web application and mobile app.

Event - The specific sports event or competition for which the Local Organising Committee is responsible and for which data is being collected and managed through the App.

Authorities - Entities such as governing bodies of sport (National or International) that may require access to data relating to the Event or its participants to enable the Event to take place and to ensure it is appropriately regulated.
